I began my political career in ____ by getting elected to the City Council. I have served in the Senate since 2004. I am a native to DC and am a graduate of local school. I have a wonderful wife, to whom I have been married for __ years.  We have been blessed with two children.


I believe our city is full of hard-working and deserving citizens. My work in the Council will be geared toward making sure our city rewards our people for their efforts and gives them the chance to succeed. It is an honor to work in the DC Councilon behalf of my constituents and our great state.
